Hornet 5000i versions are designed for use under DOS based
systems and should be used by those users who do not have Windows
available on their PC systems. The two versions listed above are
equivalent in product feature and operation and constitute the
latest version available. The two versions provide the following
operational options:
This version requires the standard Hornet 5000i
Security Key fitted to the PC in order to operate (the security keys
are clearly labelled). This type of Security Key will not operate
the newer Hornet Windmill systems and you will need to
either fit a new key or upgrade the system to Version 6.4.2j. (Nov

This version requires the newer Hornet Windmill
Security Key fitted to the PC in order to operate and hence this
version allows a user to operate both Hornet 5000i and Hornet
Windmill systems on the same PC under a single key. Users
registered under a current Support Scheme Contract may request an
update to this release as part of an upgrade to Hornet Windmill.
