Q: I have built a new report format that includes various dates for the tasks but when it is printed these values are shown as numbers and not calendar dates. What should I do to change this?
A: This is because the parameters have been added to the report in numeric format rather than a text format; the numeric format will give all dates as numbers based on the project's internal calendar (day 1 is the first day), whilst the text format will display true calendar dates. If you are using the Report Wizard to build your report then ensure that you select the correct parameter format. Within Hornet text format parameters are shown on report formats with a trailing $ character: thus EST will give a numeric Early Start Date, whilst EST$ will give a calendar date.
