Public Courses
Standard courses are offered in all aspects of the use,
configuration and application of the Hornet range of products.
Whether for novice, expert or system manager, courses are
available designed for their needs.
Theory and Practice
Courses are also available which focus on the theory of Project
Management and good practice in its implementation. The Hornet
product range can be used to highlight particular topics or
another product may be used, as agreed with yourselves.
Introductory Courses
Introductory courses are offered which are designed to bring the
novice up to a high level of competency in the use and application
of the system.
Advanced Courses
Advanced courses are designed to allow the ready-skilled to
improve their techniques and understanding of both Hornet systems
and enable staff to increase the effective use of Hornet within
their organisations.
Project structures and data management skills figure strongly in
this area.
Conversion Courses
Intensive one day courses are available which focus on the needs
of delegates who need to apply their existing skills with a new
system.
Here the stress is on feature and function and ease of use
rather than theory.
Administrators Course
System managers/administrators are offered a course which allows
them to understand the Hornet system and how it may be configured
and managed to maximise benefits to their businesses.
Report Writing Course
The report writing course is designed to capitalise on one of
the key strengths of the Hornet systems. The course take skilled
personnel through a structured approach to reporting and show how
to get the best from Hornet.
The focus is always on the business need and quality of output,
rather than exercising different features and functions.
Bespoke Training

One of our key strengths is the ability to design, produce and
present training courses which are focused on the particular needs
of the client. We are expert in working with clients and putting
together the right combinations to maximise the benefits of your
investment.
Whether such a course is undertaken at Rothbury or a site of
your own choice, the focus on objectives and quality remains.
If a standard course does not fit your specific needs, a cost
effective bespoke course may be a viable option. In close
consultation with you, we will define:
- What your objectives are;
- Who needs to be trained;
- When training needs to be done;
- How are objectives to be met;
- Where it should be presented;
- How results will be reviewed.
On completion of the course, the results will be jointly
reviewed to ensure the course has met your original objectives.
